App: Phone Call: Calling App
Effective date: September 16, 2026

We are the developer of Phone Call: Calling App ("we", "us", "our"). This policy tells you what the application (the "App") does with information. The App is a calling app: you can dial and answer calls, keep contacts in order, review past calls, see who is ringing, and stop calls from numbers you do not want. Install the App or keep using it and you accept what is described here. If you would rather not, please do not install it.

1. Kinds of Information

How much the App handles depends on the permissions you give. There are four kinds:

  • Contacts. Names and numbers already saved on your phone. Used to fill the contact list and to put a name against an incoming number.
  • Call records. Call log entries and the numbers of calls made and received. Used for the history screens and for identifying callers.
  • Blocked and reported numbers. Saved with a device identifier so filtering still works next time you open the App.
  • Technical information. Phone model, Android version, App version, language, device identifiers, anonymous feature counts, crash reports and performance logs.

Contacts and call records are handled on the phone. We do not sell them and we do not hand them to anyone beyond the providers named below.

2. Permissions

  • Contacts (read and write) — showing, adding, editing and ordering your contact list.
  • Phone (CALL_PHONE, READ_PHONE_STATE) — placing calls and detecting a call in progress.
  • Call Log — building call history and recent calls.
  • Notifications — telling you about incoming calls and blocked calls.

Nothing is asked for before the feature that needs it. Take a permission back in Android settings and the matching feature simply stops until you give it again.

3. What We Use Data For

Only for these things: running contacts, dialling, call history, caller ID and blocking; keeping the spam filter useful; keeping the App stable and fixing faults; measuring overall usage to guide improvements; showing adverts on the free tier; and switching subscriptions on and restoring them. We never sell or rent personal information.

4. Adverts

If you have no subscription, adverts come from outside networks including Google AdMob. They may read your phone advertising identifier and similar technical signals to choose an advert, personalised where the law allows. You can reset or remove that identifier and turn personalisation off in Android settings at any time. While a subscription is active there are no adverts at all.

Google describes its advertising data practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

A subscription is optional. It removes adverts and opens the premium features. Google Play billing handles every payment. Card numbers, billing addresses and similar details are collected and kept by Google under Google's privacy policy; they never come to us. We receive only an anonymous purchase token, used solely to turn the subscription on and to restore it after a reinstall or a new phone. Purchase records are kept only as long as tax and accounting law requires.

6. Other Services Inside the App

The App uses Google Play Services, Firebase for analytics and crash reporting, Google AdMob for adverts, and Google Play billing for subscriptions. Each has its own privacy policy and we recommend reading them. Those companies decide how they handle data, not us.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational protection for the information the App handles. Even so, no electronic storage or transmission is ever completely safe, so we cannot promise absolute security.

8. Your Choices

At any moment you can give or remove permissions in Android settings, edit or delete contacts, clear call history, unblock a number, turn off advert personalisation, or uninstall the App, which clears the data it kept on the phone.

9. Children

The App is not for anyone under 13, or under 16 where local law says so, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If such information reaches us by mistake we delete it once we know. A subscription started by a minor counts only if a parent or guardian agreed first; purchase authentication in Google Play stops charges completing on a child's phone without an adult approving. Parents and guardians with a concern can write to the address below.

10. Regional Rights

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you can access, correct, delete and restrict use of your personal data, withdraw consent, and complain to a Data Protection Authority. Residents of several United States states have similar rights, including opting out of any sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. Write to the address below to use any of these rights.

11. Deleting Data

No account is needed. Contacts, call history and block lists sit on the phone and go when you delete them in the App or uninstall it. If you want something we hold deleted, write to us and we will handle it in a reasonable time.

12. Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated occasionally. The version on this page, with its effective date, is always the one that counts, and using the App after an update means accepting it.
